Hello! We are inviting artists from all over to tattoo alongside us for a guest spot with us in Los Angeles, and we would love to include you in our list of confirmed artists joining us in our Downtown LA Private Studio!

As our guest, you’ll have your own station set up for the duration of your guest spot, with access to all necessary supplies.  We’ll have multiple brands of black inks available, as well as a large collection of Eternal Inks pigments.  We also have many top brand rotaries available for use (Bishop, Cheyenne, FK Irons, etc) if necessary! If you’d like to bring your own machines, you’re more than welcome to do so.  If you have any questions regarding supplies provided, feel free to ask.

To ensure you enjoy your time in Los Angeles, we would love to help your open slots get booked, so we’ll be promoting your content on our platform (@lostboysdtla and @ink.ray on instagram) to let people know we’ll be working together for a few days, giving your page a niche promotion with the hopes that you gain some follows from prospective clients and fellow artists alike!

We want you to have a good time out here, and we know shops asking for 40%+ cuts, along with the cost of stay, food, etc. is what prevents artists from taking the leap to guest spot, which is an amazing part of a tattoo career that some artists never even get to experience!

That being said, instead of doing a % off of each tattoo, we’ll be asking for a flat rate of $200 per day. We chose to do a flat rate because we felt that it would ease the cost of guest spotting, seeing as giving 40% of your income as well as covering the cost of travel, stay, etc.

We try to have fun each day and adding someone else to that mix is always a good time! We’re always down to do stuff in LA, and if you come down with family/friends, you’re more than welcome to invite them to hang out with us at the studio while you tattoo (Just no kids/pets in the actual studio while clients are present please).  We’re also down to just point you in the direction of whatever it is you’re looking for if you’d like to do your own thing for a bit!

Overall, our goal is to spread positivity through the industry while playing on old school values of tattooing; creativity, collaboration, and having a good time.

We’re being particular about the artists that I invite, and as a result I’ll need a solid Yes or No answer to prevent scheduling conflicts with myself and the other artists that will be joining us.  Actual dates for your guest spot will need to be discussed, as we are filling in guest spots for 2024.  We hope to hear from you soon.
